Our top 3 F1 teams on social media…

We love watching F1 on tv and the entertainment it brings, but once the cars are off our tv screens it's up to social media to provide us with some quality F1 content. Here is our favourite F1 teams to follow on social media and where their content is the best. 

Racing Point

Where to follow them: Twitter  

The twitter of Racing point is so funny and witty and has become one of our favourites to keep track of this year. This team know how to keep twitter fans engaged! Their use of gifs during races and the comments they leave on other F1 teams pages are what we live for. The team have cleverly employed … to run their social media and her wit and quick reactions on twitter is what makes the account so popular.  Also, a special mention to the amazing graphic designer for the posters the team releases for each GP, with many driver cameos being featured. 

McLaren 

Where to follow them: YouTube, Twitter & Instagram 

Mclaren are one of the biggest teams for providing their fans with content. The teams Youtube has some amazing uploads including its McLaren Unboxed, which gives an insight into race weekends for the team. McLaren challenges (sadly has not taken place as much this year, due to Covid-19) are also a frequent feature on their YouTube, where Carlos and Lando compete in exciting challenges such as, snack wars, would you rather and many more. The teams twitter shows off the team's funny side with the same content we see from Racing Point, their funny comments and interactions with other teams are brilliant! The teams Instagram, although more formal, does provide its fans with quality content such as quizzes on their stories, frequent IGTV videos and great photos taken by the team's photographer, Henrik Ringner. 

Mercedes-AMG

Where to follow them: Instagram 

The Instagram of Mercedes is brilliant with great story graphics, informative IGTV and amazing memes. The teams IGTV videos are an amazing feature to the teams Instagram the videos range from showing fans an insight on their strategies, some of their team members roles on race weekends and how different parts of the car and the pit work. The teams Instagram also features great funny moments of their team members throughout the race weekends, a personal favourite of ours was the saga of Toto on an electric scooter.
